Timer-as-a-Service: Adaptive Timeout Configuration in Distributed Protocols NEDB Poster 2026
About
I am a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at Stony Brook University. My research focuses on distributed databases, particularly consensus protocols. I study how replication systems adapt to variability in load and communication in both trusted and untrusted environments. More broadly, I am interested in how data is collected, moved, and stored at scale.
